While it’s easy to screen for hearing or vision problems, it isn’t always as easy or straightforward to screen for certain developmental or behavioral disorders such as autism spectrum disorder (ASD). This is because there is no simple blood test that we can perform to provide a definitive diagnosis. Rather, our board-certified pediatrician Dr. Mary J. Strength will need to evaluate your child’s medical and developmental history and behaviors in order to make a proper diagnosis.

We have been using Dr. Strength for years. She is excellent! She is very dedicated to the health and wellbeing of her patients. She is always happy to take extra time to address any questions or concerns you may have. Her staff of nurse practitioners are very good as well and treat the children with the same commitment to their well being. The hours of availability are great for working parents and for minimizing absences from school. The office staff is extremely helpful and courteous! Great all around and I highly recommend!
